Ingredients

Bacon (Pork, cured, cooked, pan-fried)
3 strip cooked / 24 grams
White bread (Commercially prepared, toasted)
1 slice, thin / 17 grams
Butter (Unsalted)
1 tbsp / 14.2 grams
Egg, fried (Whole, cooked)
1 large / 46 grams
Salt (Table)
1 dash / 0.40 grams
Pepper (Spices, black)
1 dash / 0.10 grams

Instructions

Step 1
Place bacon in a cold pan over medium heat. Cook until desired crispiness is reached.
Step 2
Lightly toast bread and cut a hole in the center.
Step 3
Heat skillet on medium low and melt butter in skillet until just bubbly. Place toast (include the cutout) in the skillet and turn to coat both sides.
Step 4
Break egg in the center of the hole and cover with lid (it’s best to use a glass lid to watch progress of the egg).
Step 5
Once egg white is more than half set, turn toast and egg with spatula over for an over easy egg (or continue with lid on for a sunny side up).
Step 6
Remove to plate and serve with bacon and toasted cut-out. Season to taste with salt and pepper. Enjoy!
